13 - 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
14 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
# Directions:
01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, allowing overhang for easy removal.
02 - In a medium bowl, toss apples and peaches with lemon juice, granulated sugar, cornstarch, and ground cinnamon until evenly coated.
03 - In a large bowl, stir together flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon until well combined.
04 - Add melted butter and vanilla extract to dry mixture, stirring until the texture becomes crumbly.
05 - Press two-thirds of the crumble mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan to create an even base.
06 - Evenly spread the prepared apple and peach filling over the crumble base.
07 - Sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture evenly over the fruit layer.
08 - Place in oven and bake for 38 to 42 minutes until the topping is golden brown and the fruit filling is bubbling.
09 - Allow bars to cool completely in the pan for approximately 1 hour. Use the parchment overhang to lift out and cut into 12 portions.
